Dual Footwear & Wrist Strap Tester

INSTRUCTION:Dr-Schneider SL-031 tester can be touchable and used as 3 status, which is ideal for fast and multiple test for ESD grounding device. This tester shall be used as one of calibration instruments according to the calibration standard inclusive of daily inspection of technical requirement and program described as 6.1.3.2 in ANSI ESD S20.20. Combo tester integrated with design for unique dual-testing circuit, which not only improve test speed, but also does not need any single wrist strip/foot panel tester. Furthermore, SL-031 configures with 750KΩ-10MΩ circuit used to test wrist strip and 750KΩ-100MΩ circuit used to test shoe cover, SL-031 tester is ideal for testing of wrist strip and shoe cover. Test parameter has been preset in factory, however it can be used only after one needed by you coordinates with test parameter. Calibration procedure: The resistance test by F/S tester must be over 740KΩ(working resistance as 750KΩ-10.5MΩ), however, highest resistance must be less than 11MΩ, and resistance tested in shoe cover must be over 740KΩ (working resistance is 750KΩ-35MΩ), however it must be less than 40MΩ, and resistance tolerance is 20%.

It shall be recommended to recalibrate the measurement instrument once a year from calibration time last time.

Test for foot strip

Test can be used to calibrate if there is switched on among operator.

A.     One can stand on the stand directly

B.     Switch shall be turned on FOOT PLATE

C.     Tester shall be operated after 2-3s if its button is pushed on. Notes: metal part must not be touched by mistake when testing.

D.     If green indicator "Normal PASS"LED turns on, it shall indicate normal operation between foot strip and grounding lead.
E, If "FAIL LO" or "FAIL HI"LED turns on and alarms, inspection shall be done.
